New Delhi: There are certain instances where it is seen that some boys, even when they reach puberty, have very little facial hair. There can be several reasons for this, such as E.g. hereditary, genetic disorder, low level etc. But there is no need to worry as here are some tips to follow to accelerate the beard growth rate to its maximum potential.
1. Coconut Oil Massage
A coconut oil massage on your beard is one of the best ways to boost beard growth. You can combine it with rosemary oil and if you don’t have it, you can just massage your beard with coconut oil. To get more benefits, just warm the oil up a bit. Apply it with the help of a cotton ball and leave it on for at least 15 minutes. Do this thrice a week for best results.
2. The cinnamon-lemon mix
Lemons are high in citric acid, calcium, and vitamin C, which help reduce dandruff, while cinnamon improves the flow of nutrient-rich blood to hair follicles. Both have properties that support beard growth. All you have to do is take ground cinnamon and mix in a few tablespoons of lemon juice. Mix it well and let the mixture sit on your facial hair for at least 30 minutes. Use cold water to rinse it off. You can use this twice a week for maximum benefits.
3. Amla Oil
Amla, also known as Indian gooseberry, is an herbal hair supplement that can help grow beards and mustaches. The reason it works is that the oil optimizes the pH of the follicles, eliminates flaky skin and provides a relaxed environment for the beard to grow. In addition, the oil is enriched with vitamin C, a great antioxidant that fights free radicals. All you have to do is smear the oil onto your beard, massage it in and then wash it off with cold water over the next 25 minutes.
4. Exfoliation
Exfoliation can be done at home, as this remedy will help get rid of all the accumulated dirt and grime on the face. It also decongests skin pores, prevents acne problems and promotes hair growth. Many inexpensive household items such as a mixture of olive oil and brown sugar or ground coffee mixed with water and olive oil can work as good natural scrubs. Massage the mixture in a circular motion for a few minutes, scrubbing the skin beneath your facial hair.
