Weight Loss: Dr. Mosley warns in opposition to intermittent fasting

Dr. Michael Mosley’s goal is to help people change their lives and become the healthiest, happiest version of themselves. With a brand new product, the science moderator shared his tips for anyone thinking about intermittent fasting. He told Express.co.uk where to start and how to make sure intermittent fasting is done safely for the best results.

“So start by consuming your food in a 12 hour window and fasting the rest of the time.

“When you get used to it, move on to a 10 hour meal time.

“I would say there is growing evidence that it is better to finish your dinner earlier than eat late, skip breakfast and then fast until noon,” added the doctor.

“So, however you choose to eat for a limited time, I would recommend that you stop eating by 8:00 PM and then stop eating calories before breakfast the next day.

“If you fast for 12 hours, you can have breakfast at 8:00 am.

“Then you could try moving it a little later, to 10 am for breakfast.

“In that case, you might want to have something like a meal replacement shake for breakfast, which is more convenient when you’re at work,” continued Dr. Mosley gone.

“If you really insist on eating all your food in eight hours, which is more difficult, you would probably skip breakfast altogether and have lunch around noon or 1pm.”

Anyone considering intermittent fasting or adopting this lifestyle has concerns about hunger and bloating.

Dr. Mosley said, “The best way to prevent hunger from hunger with intermittent fasting is to use something like a high-protein shake.”

“Just knock it back. It will help control hunger, but the main thing is that you don’t get a headache and constipation, “said Dr. Mosley.
