Weight Loss: Dr. Mosley shares his favourite breakfast recipe with Weight Loss – “Filled with Taste”

Weight loss is something many people want to achieve, but few succeed without the right tips and recommendations. Dr. Michael Mosley said his ultimate weight loss diet hack was a high fiber breakfast – and shared his favorite recipe so you can try it at home.

“Insoluble fiber also helps reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes and helps keep the bowels moving by adding water to stool and preventing constipation,” he said.

“One of the main reasons for choosing a low-carb, high-protein breakfast is so that you don’t starve to death in the middle of the morning and be tempted to stick to a pastry.

“Many studies have shown that a high-protein breakfast, perhaps something with eggs or fish, can keep you full longer,” said Dr. Mosley.

Dr. Mosley recommended trying his “Green Brekkie Bowl,” which is “a vegetable-filled breakfast bowl full of flavor and nutrients” and has only 343 calories.

Half a tablespoon of olive oil

half a tablespoon of ground paprika

half a tablespoon of ground cumin

half a tablespoon of ground turmeric

A quarter tablespoon of chilli flakes

70g kale, hardy stems removed and leaves chopped up

Half a zucchini (approx. 75 g), chopped

Five mushrooms, sliced

50g spinach leaves

Two large free range eggs

vinegar

Half an avocado, mashed

sea-salt

Dr. Mosley starts by heating a large pan over medium heat and adding olive oil, spices, kale, and zucchini.

He cooks it for about seven minutes or until the kale becomes soft.

Then he adds the mushrooms and cooks for another five minutes. Finally he adds the spinach, turns off the heat and stirs.

Michael Mosley then poaches the eggs and pours cold water into a large saucepan about three inches deep and adds a little vinegar.

“Bring the water to a boil, then reduce the heat to low (the water should still be simmering on the edge),” he said.

He beats an egg in a shallow bowl and stirs the water with a wooden spoon to create a whirlpool.

“Put the egg in the water. Cook two to three minutes for a soft yolk or three to four minutes for a firm yolk, ”he recommends.

He takes the egg out of the water with a slotted spoon and then repeats the process with the other egg.

“Put the vegetables in a large bowl, add the mashed avocado and top with the poached eggs. Season with salt and pepper and enjoy!”
