Once mixed, apply directly to the moss and surrounding areas and leave on for 15 minutes. If necessary, scrub the area.
Once the moss is dead and yellow, remove it and then pressure wash the surface with a pressure washer or hose until the surface is clean and all moss is removed.
Boiling water
Using boiling water is another way to remove moss from concrete. This method is gentler than the others and does not require chemicals, making it a good option for gardeners who have plants close to the moss.
The experts cautioned, “Make sure all areas are clear of other obstructions before beginning this process — things like that only make removing moss that much more difficult.”
