The Four Finest Gluten-Free Apps to Assist You Handle Your Weight loss program

Switching to a gluten-free diet is not easy. You need to plan meals in advance, scan food labels for ingredients that contain gluten, and see that restaurants can cater to you safely.

For many, the intake of even the smallest amounts of gluten can be enormous. Gluten intolerance can cause abdominal pain, nausea, and upset stomach. For anyone with celiac disease, even a single breadcrumb could trigger a long-term illness thanks to an autoimmune reaction to gluten protein.

What you need is a pocket guide to help you manage your gluten-free lifestyle. Here are four handy apps to get you started:

With a 4.5-star rating, Find Me Gluten Free is a reliable restaurant guide for anyone on a gluten-free diet.

You can use the app to find restaurants, bars, cafes, and grocery stores that offer a gluten-free diet. Browse your local area, type in a specific address, or search locations around the world to find gluten-free restaurants that are right for you.

The app is based on ratings and reviews from other gluten-free users, so you can get first-hand advice on how safe (and delicious!) A restaurant or meal is.

To use the Find Me Gluten Free features, all you need to do is log in with your email address, Google or Facebook account. While signing up, you will have the option to identify yourself as Celiac, Non Celiac, or Not Sure for the most useful results for your needs.

Find Me Gluten Free enables you to view menus (including all gluten-free features in each restaurant), contact us, or get directions to any gluten-free business listed.

The app also includes a handy menu – great for showing off waiters who may not be as familiar with a gluten-free diet as you are. The menu explains that you cannot tolerate gluten, what foods contain gluten and what you can eat.

Do you know of a gluten-free restaurant that is not on the Find Me Gluten Free directory? You can reach out to the developer to request inclusion on the app to help out your other gluten free eaters.

Ever desperately searched the ingredients in every grocery package in a grocery store for traces of gluten? When you need to check ingredients quickly, use The Gluten Free Scanner – an app that will tell you in no time whether your food contains gluten or not.

To use The Gluten Free Scanner, just open the app and give it permission to access your camera. You can then scan the barcodes on each food package to see if it contains gluten by using the barcode scanner in the app. All of your scanned products are saved in the History tab so you can look through your groceries to quickly remember what is safe to eat.

The gluten-free scanner is also a handy tool to recommend to friends or family members who are planning to care for you and may need a little guide on safe foods to eat.

The database of food and beverage products on The Gluten Free Scanner is maintained by a team of registered dietitians, nutritionists and researchers. With this in mind, you can be sure that the accuracy of the products in the database is reliable.

If a barcode number you are scanning is not found in the database, you can leave feedback to request the product to be included in the app.

It’s worth noting that you can only scan items using the free version of The Gluten Free Scanner. If you want to search for products by name, brand or category, you need to purchase the full version of the app.
