Federal agents on Thursday arrested two men from Kentucky linked to the Boogaloo Bois, including one charged with crimes related to a January 6 riot in Louisville, the Justice Department said.
John Subleski, 32, is charged with instigating a riot in downtown Louisville on January 6th. On the same day, a mob attacked by former President Donald Trump stormed the U.S. Capitol. Subleski was reportedly part of a militia group that identified with the Boogaloo Bois – an extremist movement focused on plotting to overthrow the US government.
Federal prosecutors claim Subleski used social media to encourage others to participate in the riots. Subleski announced that it was “time to storm the Louisville Police Department” according to a criminal complaint.
