Wilson explained how her weight stayed constant, “I think because I’ve approached it from all walks of life … the biggest thing I’ve never worked on was the emotional side, which I’ve suffered from as a classic, emotional eating. .. so I really worked on this site. “
“The biggest thing is just walking,” she added. “… I had all of these high-tech tests done on me during my health year. They said that walking is actually the best way for me to lose unnecessary body fat.”

The bridesmaid star continuously shared her progress throughout 2020 before announcing later in November that she had reached the weight goal she had set for herself.
“Reach my goal with one month to spare!” The star then wrote on her Instagram story next to a photo of her scale. “Although it’s not about a weight number, but about being healthy, I needed a specific measurement as a goal, and that was 75 kg.”

Wilson spoke to PEOPLE earlier this week and went on to explain that losing weight was never about number.
“My goal was never to be thin,” she explained. “I don’t focus too much on the numbers. I still look like me. I love being curvy and I’m still super curvy, but just a healthier version. That was my goal.”
“I’m just trying to encourage everyone to be the healthiest version of themselves,” Wilson added. “That doesn’t necessarily mean that you’re shorter, it just means that you don’t engage in unhealthy behaviors. I like to think that I look good in all sizes.”
Along the way, Wilson said she also learned a lot about “emotional eating” and how to treat herself with kindness when she is tired or exhausted.
“I would numb myself with food,” she revealed. “I’d traveled the world and had a hectic lifestyle and my way of dealing with the pressure was sometimes to eat ice cream and brownies, but at the end of the day I didn’t treat myself with love. I’ll have dessert now once or twice a week. It’s just not an everyday thing. Having a sweet tooth will always be my vice, but online shopping has crept in a bit! “
