Pull-ups are a very useful workout for strengthening the muscles in the back, shoulders, and arms while improving grip strength, general body strength, and fitness level. All upper body muscles including the lats, traps, deltoids, pecs, biceps, forearms and triceps are put into action when you lift your whole body off the floor by hanging on a bar.

It is great for physical and mental health as it tends to challenge your muscles. They are a great way to strengthen your biceps, triceps, forearms, wrists, grip strength, lats, shoulders, and core.

While pull-ups are a very efficient workout routine, they are not recommended for beginners.
