Senior Care Supplier Receives Arbitration Over Worker’s Compensation Declare

A home health care provider for elderly patients won an appeal to bring an employee’s work-related injury claim to arbitration when a Texas court ruled that a time limit for making claims did not render the arbitration agreement he signed unenforceable.

Greg Bradwell signed Cardinal Senior Care LLC’s arbitration agreement before he was injured moving a washing machine for Cardinal’s patients Gary and Norma Thompson. He sued the company and the Thompsons about two years after his injury.
