Philadelphia AccuWeather Forecast for Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) – Winter storm warnings are posted along the I-95 corridor and to the northwest. Winter weather advisories are posted in parts of Jersey and Delaware.

TODAY: During the morning commute, snow gradually seeps into the area, making the roads slippery. The snow gains intensity towards the end of the commuting and around noon before it subsides a little in the afternoon. Near the coast, the snow will turn into rain. A change from freezing rain to sleet is likely to be closer to I-95 in the late morning or early afternoon. The high is a cold 30.

EXPECTED SNOWFALL:
-3 “through 6” is forecast for Philadelphia and the surrounding area. The heaviest snow falls in the morning, followed by some mixing.
-1 “to 3” for areas of central Delaware south of a line from Dover to Millville and Hammonton east towards Manahawkin.
– Generally less than an inch in southern Cape May County, where the storm is mostly rain.

FRIDAY: A light mix is ​​possible in the morning and maybe until the afternoon. Otherwise it is mostly cloudy. Watch out for cool breezes, though the afternoon will be a bit milder with a high of 38.

SATURDAY: Colder air rifles return to the region. Look for a partially sunny, bustling day with a high of only 34 and wind chills in your 20s.

SUNDAY: We stay dry for the second half of the weekend, but it’s still cold. Look out for sunny breaks and a high of 36.

MONDAY: This is a mostly cloudy day with occasional snow and rain showers. Any snow is likely limited to the morning as the afternoon high climbs to a more comfortable, seasonal 41.
TUESDAY: A sprinkle or a restlessness in the morning cannot be ruled out. Otherwise, look for a partially sunny, seasonal afternoon with a high of 45.

WEDNESDAY: We will see mostly cloudy skies with a shower or two at times. It’s breezy and mild with our afternoon shoot-up up to 49.

THURSDAY: What a beauty! Look for mostly sunny skies with a mild high of 50.
