AUBURN – On Sunday, January 1, 2023, Donna L. Stowe died at the age of 66 at Androscoggin Hospice House in Auburn of complications from MS
Donna was born in Lewiston on May 6, 1956 to Donald and Alice Gunn. She attended and graduated from Lewiston High School in the Class of 1974. Donna married Thomas Stowe on May 9, 1987 and together they raised two children, their daughter Courtney and their son Justin.
After high school, she worked in child care, as a waitress, and in retail. The most important job she loved was being a homemaker and housewife for her children and husband.
Donna loved the simple things in life, crafts, caring for houseplants, watching birds and watching TV shows, The Waltons and Little House on the Prairie were two of her favorites.
Donna and her mother were avid Red Sox fans. They ended their phone calls by saying, “See you at the game.”
Donna was predeceased by her parents Donald and Alice Gunn; Grandparents Flora and Antonio Caron, Etta and Raymond Gunn.
She is survived by her husband Tom; daughter Courtney Barnaby (Sean), son Justin (Elaine); grandsons Jane and Eric Stowe; sister Debra, brother Dennis (Debbie); as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
