Former NFL star Vernon Davis invests in smart home gym JAXJOX

Former NFL tight end star Vernon Davis has joined at-home connectei.e Gjm starightchristening JAXJOX as an InvestOright ani.e brightani.e partner. The Company’s products include free weights and kettlebells with built-in sensors to track exercise data such as: Reps, sets, average exertion, calories burned, and heart rate.

Techstars’ current accelerator in Indianapolis also includes two smart gym startups set to reinvent weightlifting at the facility. RepOne similarly inserts sensors on the weights themselves, while EvenLift uses AI-enabled cameras to track a user’s exercise, the weight they’re lifting, their number of repetitions, and their form.
