Nancy Lee Lane Linger, 77, of Pittsburgh, died in her home on Sunday, September 5, 2021, surrounded by her family.

She was born on November 18, 1943 in Hookstown, PA to the late Chris and Goldie Norman Lane.

She was also preceded in death by her son David Lee Linger, her sister Betty Pearson, the brothers James Lane, Hutch and Art Norman, and their granddaughter Camay Youngblood.

Nancy worked in home nursing for many years. She loved puzzles, watched game shows and John Wayne movies, played bingo, and collected John Wayne and Basset Hound Dog figurines. Nancy’s greatest joy in life was spending time with her family and she just loved her grandchildren.

Nancy is missing from Pittsburgh with her children Rebecca Paris and husband Joe from Weirton, Christina Towele-Eden from South Carolina, Diane Snyder from Virginia Beach, Lynette Lovett from Florida, Candy Cogdell and her husband Darrell from Pittsburgh and Ed Lee Linger; 19 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester, WV., From 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
