McDonald’s buyer finds weight reduction promotion added to their supply order

People just want to eat without being under pressure.

Over the past year, more and more people have turned to grocery delivery services like UberEats or DoorDash. This apparently led some delivery drivers to take advantage of the increase in business by promoting a side business.

However, one customer claims that her DoorDash delivery driver may not have recognized the effects of a coupon they added to the bag.

A TikTok user who posted under the name Soozieque posted a video on her account revealing what she found in an order from McDonald’s. Apparently someone added a promotional offer for a weight loss club.

According to the TikTok post, the woman believes her DoorDash driver put the card in her pocket. In response to commenting on the video, she stated that the McDonald’s bag was sealed with yellow stickers, but there was still room for someone to put something in it.

As many commenters on the video pointed out, it is against the DoorDash Terms of Service for drivers to sell or advertise personal products while they are delivering for the company.

Many commentators agreed that the map had some unpleasant effects. “I usually oppose leaving negative reviews, but I’ll give you a pass for this,” the user wrote.

Another used added, “‘Lose weight, ask me how’ when you ordered McDonald’s, like what low ball?”

However, some users agreed with the driver.

“This person is probably just struggling to make ends meet,” wrote one user, “and is doing anything to make money and is not internalizing it.”
