If you do weight training regularly, here is a high intensity workout that you must try. Australian fitness trainer Kayla Itsines shared a video of her “favorite exercises” from her high-intensity strength program on Instagram. Kayla said that this new program she showed off in the video combines big machines with free weights and bodyweight exercises – the three things she loves to do in a workout.

She divided the exercise pattern into five categories:
- Lat pulldown
- Hip thrust
- Weighted step-up
- Side lunge
- Burpee box jump
The short video showed her doing all of these exercises one at a time in a gym.

For those who are intimidated by heavy equipment in a gym, Itsines said there was a time when she too felt the same way when she saw the gym equipment shown in the video, but now she works out on these “big machines.” “as a pro and they have become some of their favorite machines.
“I just thought it was important to say this because I know there are a lot of women who would never imagine working like this,” Kayla said.
