“The reason behind dull hair, thinning hair or hair loss is due to various factors such as unhealthy diet and lifestyle, excessive use of hair products and styling tools, lack of nutrients, inadequate hair care, environmental pollution or even genetics,” says Dr Dadu .
Here are a few natural ways to make your hair thicker:
1. Onion Juice
Onions have antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties that help keep scalp problems at bay while helping hair grow in strength and number. Onions are a great source of sulfur, which is one of the main components of the hair protein keratin. Regular use of onions in the form of onion juice or hair oil can intensively care for the scalp, stimulate hair growth, strengthen the hair roots and reduce hair loss.

2. Hair Masks
Using herbal hair mask can deeply moisturize hair strands from roots to tips. It penetrates the scalp to an appropriate depth and helps increase hair thickness and restore its natural shine.
3. Castor Oil
Castor oil focuses on promoting hair growth and thickness. It is rich in antioxidants, proteins, vitamins and fatty acids that increase circulation and nourish the scalp. It also helps attract dirt and oil build-up, which cleans the hair follicles while locking in moisture from the scalp and strands.
4. Healthy eating
A balanced and healthy diet helps to regulate the cell metabolism in the stem cells of the hair follicles. Always consume foods rich in protein, fatty acids, and vitamins A, B, C, and E. 8. Coconut Oil
It contains fatty acids that can penetrate deep into the hair shaft and stop protein loss. Coconut oil is versatile and can be used as a night mask or as a leave-in treatment, depending on your hair type. If you have an oily hair type, always apply oil and leave it on overnight, then wash it off the next morning.
