Levels Biking Twin Sided Energy Meter for Dura-Ace 9200

December 12, 2022

Boulder, Colorado – December 12, 2022 /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – cycling stages, a leader in cycling technology, today announced the launch of its dual-sided power meter for Shimano’s latest 12-speed Dura-Ace 9200 cranksets.

The drive-side Stages R crank arms and double-sided Stages LR cranksets for Shimano’s 12-speed groupsets feature a new power meter design, including new strain gauges and sensors. Units are available now in a variety of lengths and chainring configurations for $1189.99.

In December, Stages began offering factory-installed Dura-Ace R9200 and Ultegra R8100 power meters only as single-sided, non-drive-side Stages L units. This is the same technology that’s been ridden to countless professional wins, including Tadej Pogacar’s 2020 Tour de France win. Factory installation service will be available in January for the R9200’s right crank arms.

Like all Stages power meters, these new Dura-Ace units are built in Boulder, Colorado and individually calibrated to the same exacting standards of performance, accuracy and reliability as the rest of their line, including the Stages Bike SB20 Smart Bike and of the models found in some of the largest indoor cycling studios.

The latest Gen 3 Stages Power technology offers 1.5 percent accuracy, active temperature compensation for consistent performance regardless of weather conditions, IPX7 water resistance, and user-replaceable CR2032 batteries.

“We’re excited to offer a double-sided Stages power meter for the latest Dura-Ace crankset,” said Pat Warner, senior vice president of product development. “Our top priority is providing cutting-edge technology to help cyclists achieve their goals. This new model complements the many tools that Stages has to offer.”

The Dura-Ace 9200 crankset is compatible with all 12-speed Shimano Hollowtech II road bike bottom brackets. Customers who have already purchased a Stages R9200 right-side power meter can purchase a drive-side power meter and pair it with their existing left-side to create a double-sided unit.
