In-Dwelling Remedy acquires workers for Treatment Remedy and expands into Austin and San Antonio, TX markets

The home therapy brand will expand its reach within and support the therapy community by working with the therapists and business owners behind Remedy to grow within it Texas markets.

KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa., July 13, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — InHome Therapy has Remedy Therapy Staffing, on Austin, Texas-based home health care company. The acquisition expands InHome Therapy’s presence into a new market while strengthening its network of dedicated therapists offering in-home therapies.

“I think the culture of this particular company is a great fit for InHome Therapy. In terms of heroizing the therapist, providing education and focusing on patient outcomes, our priorities are aligned,” he explained Rick Anglen, Corporate Development Officer of InHome Therapy. “Remedy is very well run with a strong management team and both owners will remain.”

Remedy Therapy Staffing originally grew out of the desire of two therapists to provide quality home health care to their communities. After crossing paths professionally over the years, Kristen Fowler and Keri Jackson worked side by side in a rehabilitation setting and began discussing the possibility of starting their own home health business.

“We’re focused on home health, and we both love doing geriatrics, so that was a priority,” Fowler explained. “We like the flexibility and the ability to provide more personalized care at home. We both have a lot of hospital experience and we have realized how important home health is too.”

Remedy was founded in 2010 and has been run by the two ever since.

The brand has always emphasized the value of its therapists and has worked to prioritize both the therapists and their patients, always looking for ways to make the lives of everyone involved just that little bit better.

“I really like that we have therapists leading therapists,” Jackson said. “It really is our special sauce.” InHome Therapy’s emphasis on the connection between its therapists ensures there will be a fantastic culture fit.

The story goes on

After experiencing rapid growth, Fowler and Jackson knew the company was about to change. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic hampering the business, Remedy persevered and the business has been on a steady uptrend ever since. Some of the brand’s connections have had to grow and rebuild in the wake of the pandemic, and their usage of Remedy’s therapist network went from about 50% to 90%.

“We knew we were either acquiring someone or being acquired. Then came InHome and it was a perfect fit,” explained Fowler. “I think InHome will be a great home for our therapists and they will continue to provide quality care. At Remedy, we don’t want to be just a staffing agency, but the main point of contact for everyone we work with because it allows us to be on time and provide the best care.”

Anglin explained that Texas is a prime market for InHome as the geriatric population in the region has increased and home health care facilities are in high demand. As the two brands come together, Anglin hopes to strengthen existing customer relationships while providing the support of a national brand with a national presence.
