Florida is interesting to DeSantis’s appeals courtroom and reversing the order to permit the masks mandate to be banned in faculties

Florida Governor’s attorneys Ron DeSantis filed the emergency appeal after a judge ruled Wednesday that the state of Florida must suspend enforcement of a mask ban.

The latest court ruling comes amid a showdown between the state and some local school districts that have insisted that students wear masks if Covid-19 infections rise.

On August 27, District Two Judge John Cooper ruled DeSantis and allowed Florida schools to introduce mask mandates while the case was being challenged at a higher level.

Cooper decided DeSantis had gone too far when he issued an executive order in late July that ordered the Florida Department of Education and the Florida Department of Health to issue emergency rules that allowed parents to choose whether their children should wear masks in class.

The state threatened to withhold funding to districts that violated the ordinance and required masks, but 13 school districts in Florida have implemented mask mandates with no parental opt-out despite the governor.

This is a development story and will be updated.
