Efficient Ayurvedic cures for colds, coughs

Cold and cough are very common during the change of seasons. While medications are available for treatment and treatment, many people prefer home remedies like steam and gargling. In case you want to try something other effective remedies, Ayurveda says certain foods can also help prevent and recover from colds and coughs faster.

* A mixture of one teaspoon turmeric, Pinch of black pepper and honey.

* Tulsi water / tea 2-3 times a day.

* Sour fruits like amla, pineapple, lime, lemon, kiwi, etc.

* Boil 7-8 tulsi leaves, a small piece of ginger, some cloves of garlic, 1 teaspoon of caramel seeds, 1 teaspoon of fenugreek seeds, turmeric (dry or fresh) and 4-5 black pepper in a quart of water until it becomes half, and drink it first thing in the morning.

* Avoid cold water for showering and drinking.

*Drink hot water to promote digestive function.

* Honey will help you soothe your throat.

* Drink ginger, turmeric, lemon tea.

* Put some ajwain, eucalyptus oil or turmeric in boiling water for steam inhalation.

* Drink warm Milk with turmeric.

* Gargle with liquorice decoction or lukewarm water with turmeric and rock salt Sore throat.

* Chew tulsi leaves or liquorice (mulethi).

“Along with these, you also need to reduce your intake of greasy, fried, stale, and street food. Try to eat light home cooking, ”she said.

Doing exercises

* Perform Bhastrika, Anuloma viloma and Bhramri Pranayama twice a day, both morning and evening.
