Simrun Chopra, Deep Health Coach and Founder of Nourish With Sim, shared her journey from being overweight to being fit and healthy now. She lost 25 pounds in just 5 months. Simrun shared that she didn’t limit herself to eating her favorite foods. Except that she kept the diet and exercise. The key to this was her exercise and training schedule.
What inspired you?
It wasn’t a happy finding or something Simrun had decided out of the blue. After giving birth to her baby, Simrun realized that life was not easy. Lifting her baby, changing clothes and diapers was also a difficult task for her. It caused her to strain, and she would sometimes fall from the pain. She shared that her transformation wasn’t for social media, but for herself and the baby. Not being able to raise her own baby was something that affected her emotionally and mentally. Simrun knew that she had to get well for both of them.
She decided it was time to exercise and have a healthy lifestyle in order to take care of the baby and get rid of any problems it was causing her.
Your journey to weight loss
The main reason was the baby. She wanted to take care of her baby and not struggle. When things changed, not only did it help her take good care of her son, but it also made her feel good mentally. She said that she didn’t want to limit herself to eating something. Pushing yourself to adjust a diet that you don’t like won’t help.
“I can’t live without Chinese food !!! Noodles are bae, ”she wrote in her Instagram post. “The key is to eat foods that are as similar as possible to what you eat every day. It should be the food that you are used to + can eat with the family + still achieve your goals. “

Resting sleep and rest are the cornerstones of health and fitness. You are only as good as your recovery. Getting at least 6 to 7 hours of sleep is a game changer.
I devote 30 minutes to training every day. I usually do cardio and strength training alternately, followed by stretches.
