Lakshmi says, “Stomach burn, also known as dyspepsia, is a very common digestive disorder, and it can be easily treated by trying a few proven home remedies.” Let’s look at some of them.
How do you get rid of acid?
Here are 10 home remedies to relieve the burning sensation in your stomach:
1. Eat a banana
Bananas are high in antacids, which can help fight a burning sensation in the stomach. Regular consumption of it can bring you relief quickly.

2. Apple cider vinegar
Apple cider vinegar helps balance the pH of your stomach, thus treating acid reflux. Simply mix two or three teaspoons of this with a tablespoon of honey in a cup of lukewarm water. Mix it well and drink it. It will give you quick relief from your acid reflux.
3. Aloe Vera Gel
Aloe vera gel contains anthraquinones, which have a laxative effect on the intestines. Half a cup of aloe vera gel before meals can prevent heartburn.

4. Lemon Juice
Lemon juice may be acidic, but mixing a tablespoon of it in a cup of lukewarm water and drinking it on an empty stomach will save you from regretting all that overeating at last night’s party. It helps neutralize the acid in the stomach.

Ajwain or carom seeds contain a compound called thymol, which facilitates the release of gastric juices, aids digestion, and relieves acidity and constipation. Remember that ajwain should be avoided during pregnancy.
