Cowboys vs Buccaneers Rating: Stay Updates, Match Stats, Highlights, Evaluation for Sunday Evening Soccer

At halftime of the first Sunday Night Football game of the 2022 NFL season, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers lead the host Dallas Cowboys 12-3.

Tampa moved the ball with relative ease throughout the half, averaging 6.4 yards per play. But the Bucs saw each of their first three drives falter deep in Dallas Territory before settling for field goal attempts — one of which hooked Ryan Succop to the left. The Cowboys didn’t get much going offensively after their first drive, registering back-to-back three-and-outs before Dak Prescott was picked up by Antoine Winfield Jr. deep in Dallas territory.

But with a chance to get the game’s first touchdown, the Bucs again had to settle for a field goal after Micah Parsons picked up his second sack of the game — both on third-down plays inside the 10-yard line. Dallas responded by quickly shoving the ball back to the Bucs, who got into goal position thanks to a monster catch from Julio Jones on the right touchline. But the Bucs stopped short and settled for their fourth field goal of the contest.
