WILMINGTON, Delaware, Jan. 31, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — To further its commitment to diversity and inclusion, ChristianaCare has launched a Supplier Diversity Program — the first among Delaware hospitals — that supports greater equity and equality among suppliers Access to offers shopping opportunities in the healthcare system. The new program opens the door for small and diverse businesses owned and operated by ethnic minorities, women, veterans, disabled veterans, LGBTQ+ individuals and people with disabilities to do business with ChristianaCare.” ChristianaCare’s Commitment to Expanding and strengthening our partnerships with diverse vendors and suppliers is an essential part of our strategic plan to embed equity throughout our operations and culture,” said Jennifer Garvin, vice president of supply chain at ChristianaCare. “As the largest private employer in Delaware, we want to continue to grow and develop our diverse network of suppliers and vendors and get the best products at the best prices.
