Adele’s Staggering Weight Loss Helps Encourage Tribute Act Well being Modifications

An Adele Tribute Act star explained how the star inspired her own weight loss journey.

Speaking to This Morning presenters Eamonn Holmes and Rochelle Humes, Maria Herriott spoke on Monday about how Adele’s own weight loss journey had helped inspire her own attempts to change her lifestyle.

Maria revealed that she feared for her career as a tribute act when Adele revealed her own stunning weight loss for fear that her weight would not keep up with Adele’s new look.

Maria said, “Seeing the first picture of Adele losing so much weight was like, ‘Oh my god, what should I do now?’

“‘I have to go on this journey and lose my weight'”.

When asked by Eamonn, Maria said she was considering doing her tribute act “Big Adele” but was still concerned about the impact it would have on her career.

She remarked, “I had already had weight loss surgery, I had gastric banding, but it went a little wrong, so I would already have gastric bypass surgery, but the pictures of Adele only accelerated my process.”

Maria announced that her gastric band had been removed and that she had gained four stones in six months.

Towards the end of the interview, Maria revealed how delighted she was to be with Eamonn as she expected to be with Alison Hammond.

Eamonn is something of a “crush” for singer Maria, who then performed Adele’s hit song Someone Like You on the sofa.
